Scholastic Aptitude Test - SAT
SAT not only assesses what you know academically but also how well you can apply your knowledge in practical life.
SAT is well known for last more than 90 years. It is globally recognized college admission test. It tests your knowledge of reading, writing and mathematics. It was redesigned twice, once in 2005 and again in March 2016 which is the latest version. SAT coaching is generally taken by junior college students.
SAT is owned by College Board, a private and non profit organization in USA. It is designed, developed and administered on behalf of the College Board by Education Testing Service(ETS). The redesigned SAT 2016 on knowledge, skill, understanding and implementation in practical life.

Test Scoring
It is in two sections.
Reading, Writing and Language module test is combinedMath- Score is the combination of Math Test calculator and no calculator portion test.
Score is on the following range for both the sections.
- 200 - 800 for Section I
- 200 - 800 for Section II
Total 400-1600
Score for essay is given separately.
SAT subject test is an additional exam administered to show your knowledge in specific subject. There are 20 subject tests. Score ranges from 200-800. Some universities require it for some specific courses.
